"I'm so sick and tired of their demands. 'Make me this, buy me that.' We get no respect from these kids. It
was high time to teach them a lesson in a way they'd understand," said a mother of three. According to one father, "Kids today have no discipline, and we're going to show them who's boss!" Show them they did, inning after brutal inning.
Spectators were left to wonder whether the no-holds-barred approach was appropriate for a game between adults and minors. "We didn't count on them going full-contact on us," a Dragon complained while watching his teammate slammed to the floor.
When the Dragons begged for a break to drink some water and catch their breath, the Parents' on-deck batter glared at his watch
for thirty seconds, then promptly picked up his bat and shouted "It's hammer time!"
After a hammering like the one they received today, the Dragons are likely to stay away from the field for quite a while.
